The Buick Platinum Extended Warranty covers over 1000 components including the engine, transmission, drive axle, heating, cooling, electrical, and everything else on the vehicle except the exclusions listed on the bottom of page 4 in the Sample Plan below.

If you are a long term owner and you buy the longest plan and you drive about 12,000 miles per year, then it’s worth it.

You may sell your warranty to the next owner when you sell your car. Mail the following to the Administrator within 30 days of the sale:

Copy of your original registration form (like the first page of the sample terms in the PDF section)

Written request (contact Administrator for official form)

$75 fee ($40 in Florida) payable to the Administrator.

Where will repairs be done?

Repairs are honored by Buick certified technicians at dealerships nationwide. A service department advisor will arrange a diagnostic inspection prior to issuing a work order.

All covered repair visits will include a rental car paid by Buick.
