F&I Tools (the “Company”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its users.
We have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online, to maintain data accuracy, to ensure the correct use of information, and to prevent unauthorized access.
For purposes of this Agreement, “Service” refers to the Company’s service which can be accessed via our website at www.factorywarrantylist.com or through our mobile application. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Company. “You” refers to you, as a user of Service.
II. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may collect both “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information” about you. “Non-Personal Information” includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, general demographic information we may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit and preferences that are generated based on the data you submit and number of clicks. “Personal Information” includes information that can be used to personally identify you, such as your email address, name, and address.
F&I Tools follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. F&I Tools does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
III. HOW WE USE AND SHARE INFORMATION
In general, we do not sell, trade, rent or otherwise share your Personal Information with third parties without your consent. We may share your Personal Information with vendors and other third-party providers who are performing services for the Company. In general, the vendors and third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide for the Company. For example, when you provide us with personal information to sign up for our newsletter, complete a transaction, place an order, verify your credit card, arrange for a delivery, or return a purchase, you consent to our collecting and using such personal information for that specific purpose, including by transmitting such information to our vendors (and their service providers) performing these services for the Company.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. We send emails regarding updates and newsletters only to visitors who directly sign up for our newsletter and quickly remove and delete all related personal information (including names, email addresses, and any other personal identifiable information) for visitors who opt out.
Certain third-party service providers (such as newsletter providers, advertisers, and payment processors) have their own privacy policies in respect of the information that we are required to provide to them in order to use their services. For these third-party service providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so that you can understand the manner in which your Personal Information will be handled by such providers.
We use suggestions and comments to improve our site with a focus on information that assists auto finance managers and other auto industry professionals to more efficiently perform their jobs. We verify the accuracy of information with source entities (banks, auto manufacturers, government agencies, etc) before publishing.
