Dodge Bumper-to-Bumper Factory Warranty is 3 years or 36,000 miles of zero cost repairs on malfunctions caused by defects in material or workmanship during assembly at the manufacturing plant.

The factory warranty will fix all mechanical and electrical parts that break in the first 3 years except normal wear items like wiper blades, glass chips, and brake pads.

After the Dodge bumper-to-bumper warranty expires the engine warranty continues for another 2 years or 24,000 miles, totaling 5 years or 60,000 miles of engine coverage.

All warranties begin from the first time the vehicle was sold.

Dodge offers two factory warranty options for owners who want to buy extended warranty coverage: Max Care and Added Care.

What does the Dodge extended warranty cover?

Max Care

Dodge Maximum Care covers the cost of repairs on the engine, transmission, HEMI, torsion bars, motor mounts, power seats, door locks, suspension, heat, air, cooling, fuel, technology, and high performance SRT parts.

It even covers the factory racing components on the Hellcat and Demon. The only items not covered are disclosed on the Dodge exclusionary list.

Added Care

Dodge Added Care coverage includes many of the same component categories as Max Care, but includes fewer items within each category.

Added Care is a suitable choice for a base model Charger, but for a fully loaded Challenger or Durango — buying Max Care is the easy #1 choice.

Dodge has three options of deductible copay: $0, $100, and $200. The $0 option sounds great until the comparison of upfront cost is considered.
