How long is the factory warranty on a new Infiniti?

The standard Infiniti factory warranty is 4 years or 60,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper repair coverage beginning from the original purchase date of the first owner.

The powertrain warranty continues for an additional 2 years after the factory warranty expires, totaling 6 years or 70,000 miles of coverage for the engine and transmission.

Infiniti offers an extended warranty with two deductible options for owners who want to buy longer coverage.

What does the Infiniti Extended Warranty cover?

The Infiniti Elite Protection Plan covers the engine, transmission, audio, video, navigation, fuel system, water pump, radiator, heating, cooling, steering, electrical and every other component on the vehicle except the exclusions listed on the top of page 7 in the brochure below.

How much is the repair copay?

Infiniti offers two options of deductible copay: $0 and $100.

The $0 deductible seems like the best choice at first glance, but the $100 deductible plan is $700 less to purchase.

Is the Elite Infiniti Warranty transferable?

Yes.

You may transfer the remainder of your extended policy to the next owner by completing the Transfer Certificate at the bottom of the Sample Terms above.

You must mail the form along with the applicable fee to the Administrator within 30 days of the sale.

An updated policy will be mailed to the next owner after the transfer is approved.

Buy the policy from the Finance Department at the dealership you intend to visit for repairs.
