How long is the Ram factory warranty?

Ram Trucks come standard with a 3 year 36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper factory warranty.

​​It covers parts and labor on repairs for all components except wearable items like brakes, tires, and batteries.

​​Ram Truck engine warranties continue after the factory warranty expires, however the mileage differs for gas and diesel engines.​

​​Gas engine warranties continue for 2 years or 24,000 miles and diesel engine warranties continue for 2 years or 64,000 miles after the basic warranty expires.

Ram offers three levels of protection for owners who want extended warranties to offset the cost of future repairs.

What does the Ram Truck Extended Warranty cover?

Mopar Max Care covers the cost of repairs for all electrical and mechanical components including over 5000 parts.

Max Care is the best extended warranty offered by Ram and it covers all the same components as the standard bumper-to-bumper warranty.

Where will repairs be done?

All Ram, Jeep, Chrysler, and Dodge dealers can perform repairs.

It is best to return to the selling dealer but it’s not required. It does not cost extra to visit other dealerships.

​Extended warranties are linked to the VIN number of the truck and can be viewed by any Ram service writer without additional documentation from the owner.
