Vehicle registration stickers in 17 Texas counties require emissions inspections with added fees due yearly: Brazoria, Collin, Dallas, Denton, El Paso, Ellis, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Johnson, Kaufman, Montgomery, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, Travis, and Williamson.

The remaining counties have lower yearly sticker fees, but many plan to require testing soon.
