Does it cover off-road use?

In some circumstances winching is covered to remove vehicles stuck in the mud or a ditch, but extreme 4x4 off-road excursions are excluded.

Does it transfer?

Yes.

Free Volvo Roadside Assistance transfers to all future owners until it expires.

Fuel delivery

2 gallons of fuel will be supplied to get you back on the road.

Lockout assistance

Includes remote unlocking through the Volvo Cars app, or locksmith services if needed.

Flat tire change

A functional spare must be in the vehicle, otherwise towing to the dealership will be provided.

Dead battery jump

Replacement expenses are not included.

Winching

The vehicle must be near a publicly maintained roadway. A technician can assist in removing the vehicle from sand, mud, and snow.

Snow chain repairs are excluded.

Trip interruption expenses

If you break down over 150 miles from your primary residence, Volvo will cover the cost of food, lodging, and alternate transportation up to $500 per occurrence.

Free towing for life

There are no vehicle age or mileage restrictions for Volvo’s free towing coverage. Towing is limited to 25 miles from the disablement. Anything further is at the owner’s expense.
